can netapp simulator run on ESXi host running vmware?

The instructions are for windows/mac running vmware workstations. I want to see if the simulator can run on our vmware infrastructures.

yes it will work.. Upgrade the RAM to 12GB

I run a 9.8 simulator in my vmware environment. I use it for testing. There is an ova you can run in vsphere.
