http authentication fails for vfiler on 8.1.RC2-7 simulator

Hi,

I configured a vfiler "vfiler_8-1" with option

httpd.admin.enable on.

I set this option on both: "vfiler0" and "vfiler_8-1".

I can authenticate via http for "vfiler0" but not for "vfiler_8-1".

Does someone face the same problem?

There is no GUI into a vFiler....yet. Http admin option for a vFiler allows vsc access.

I want to use http authentication for usage of the ONTAP API.
E.g. use "zexplore" of the manageability-sdk with http as connection type.
When i use "zexplore" with "vfiler_8-1", "zexplore" isn't responding anymore.

The problem was caused by misconfigured cifs of the vfiler. Now its working.
