Hi there,
I have an environment with two vSphere5 hosts.
They both are connected to the same 3 volumes on our N-Series filer.
The hosts lose connectivity to one or more volumes at time but it is not always the same volume. While host 1 has no connectivity to a certain volume, host 2 may connect fine.
I have an SR open with Vmware but so far no result.
I am now starting to think that this behavior may have started since I installed VSC 2.1.1.
Does this sound familiar? Did anyone else have issues with vsc 2.1.1?

is this one that your team handles or should the question be asked in the NetApp Support Community?

Hello Belgian Biscuit!
Sorry for the delayed response. I discussed your issue with NTAP NGS (support team) and from what you described more info is required, and suggest you start with IBM support team (they will escalate to NTAP as necessary).
Great name btw!
Tony

Thanks Tony,
I have logged a support request and waiting for a response.
Seems like others on vmware forum have had similar experiences. Does not look like a VSC issue but still a Ontap issue.
Cheers

Pretty sure now that this issue is caused by the network card, HP NC523 SFP. I am in the process of replacing them.
Looks like other people on vmware forum had same issue. Talking about looking for a needle in a haystack!!
