Ajay,

What version of vSphere are you going to?  If you are planning on a straight jump to 4.1 I would suggest that you look at implementing the new NetApp VSC 2.0 console on your vCenter server if you have license support for it.  This will allow you to review the NFS settings/tweaks on your filer right from the vSphere Client which is pretty slick.

How is your NFS presented to your ESX hosts? Do you have a multi-mode VIF?

Hi Rick

Thanks for your comments. we are planning for to 4.0 as our hardware does not support 4.1. I am i correct in assuming that VSC2.0 can be used with 4.0?

Excuse me for not having lots of NetApp knowledge, NFS is presented using TCP/IP through switches. we use single mode, hope I am making sense

Please comment

Thanks in advance

Thanks

Ajay
