When SMVI VM's restore, High CPU&Disk read Utilizaion

Hi team,

When I performed a VM's restore in SMVI2.0 environment(use nfs datastore),  Storage CPU&Disk read of the storage is high utilization.

What kind of processing is performed in the storage?

Hi Takahiro-san

Attched is the restore logic. You could also file a support case so that we can get complete information about the network, filer, vCenter load etc to isolate the problem

Hi,

I've got exactly the same problem with a FAS2020 . 7.3.3 , vSphere/vCenter 4.1  .

NFS Datastores ... I've got SnapRestore, Flexclone, .....  (a complete bundle pack ) installed .

I installed VSC 2.0.1P1 .

I did not find informations about VSC ... vs SMVI .... and it seems a little bit different

Perhaps a bad idea but ... It looks like the restore does not do a snaprestore but reads all the blocks ..... ???

Any Help ?
