what multipathing policy to use?

what multipathing policy should i use for vmware?

for active active arrays

what about for windows hosts. why I am not seeing all optimized paths?

Only the paths to the primary controller (the one that owns the LUN) will show as optimized.  The unoptimized paths are the paths via your secondary controller.

i have switch to round robin on my netapp luns

Old data?  Try the command 'lun stats -o' and 'sysstat -b 1' to see if the Partner Ops are increasing on any LUNS.

seems ok now. changed to rr on vmware and rebooted. thanks
