SFP Copper 10GB RJ-45 for UTA2 port on FAS2750

Hi All,

I want to check here, is it any available/supported 10GB RJ-45 transceiver that can connect to current UTA2 port on the FAS2750 model? I've try search on the HWU universe, there is only available 1GB RJ-45 transceiver supported and none of 10GB supported.

Can anyone advise on this? We plan to use the port for the Snap Mirror LIF ports and we have a dedicated 10G ethernet port that we plan to use as private network for Snap Mirror replication.

Hi!

Unfortunately all of the 10GBaseT SFPs that were on the market when the FAS2750 came out were too high power/heat to be supportable in there. There have been some newer ones released since which might be ok, but they won't be supported. I would suggest an external media converter box and DAC cables would be the most reliable option.
