Does any one know where i can download sio_ntap? I can't find it on the utility tool chest where it used to be.

I don't think it exists any more. It was last published in 2009.  I checked again,  but seems it's removed. 

 

It was a general  IO workload generator created internally by NetApp. 

 

IOMeter is probably more standard tool for testing workload generations. For linux, I think there are multiple tools under free-bsd that does that kind of job.  You can look up for - fio.
