Hello, we have an environment that has a large amount of symlinks and was serving up cifs via samba. When we create cifs share on filer, we are able to browse to the links but they are translated as a directory rather than a file. We are able to create another directory and drag it over, at which time it then becomes a file in the new directory.
Obvious stuff has been done....widelinks, translation file, options etc....
