9.3 Simulator says no disks found when booting on VMware Workstation Player 14

Just got out of 9.x class and I am trying to install the Simulator on my laptop (Win10/16GB/Quad Core/SSD).  When importing either the 9.2 or 9.3 OVA "netapp" flavor of OVA file the simulator initially boots but fails complaining "WARNING: there do not appear to be any disks attached to the system."  Then it reboots and tries again and keeps failing in an endless reboot. I am familiar with VirtualBox but clueless with WS Player.  The Simulator docs want you to tinker with the network connection but there is no mention of disk stuff.  Is there something I have to do to pre-stage the VMware WS environment to import the OVA?

Hi.

Thank you for reahcing NetApp Community.

Did you try ctrl+C and chose option 4 to wipeout the disks and start it fresh ?

Refer to the Simulator Installation Guide attached.

Thanks,

Nayab
