Creation of NDMP devices within ONTAP 7/8.x Simulator

Does anyone know if its possible to create a fake tape drive within the simulator so we can test NDMP backup functionality without tying up phyiscal filers in production?

There are 4 tape drives included in the ONTAP simulator.

Try out sysconfig -t

I also need a fake tape drive for testing NDMP functionality with ONTAP Simulator 8.1.2.

When running sysconfig -t no tape drives show up. Is it still possible in ONTAP Simulator to create fake tape devices?
