difference between vasa and vsc

Hello,

In a few words how could explain the difference between VASA (vStorage APIs for Storage Awareness) and VSC (Virtual Storage Console)

vasa is a small support tool to have proper integration of storage features into vmware automated apis, afaik its free

vsc is a full backup, restore, cloning, provisioning and managing tool, the backup part costs money (its the former snapmanager for virtual infrastructure / SMVI)
