What is the definition of flexpod? Is it specific netapp storage to be certified a a flexpod config? I am running Cisco UCS B200 M3 Blades connected to Cisco Nexus 7k switches and the storage is Netapp 8020 head. Its connected to brocade FC switch VA-40FC Is this considered a flexpod?

when I map an igroup to a lun what is the purpose of the lun id which says optional? DO I need it?

hi I have an igroup that consit of 3 servers but I am adding 4 new servers but each of them have there own igroup due to the fact that they are boot from san. each lun I have currently have the igroup pf the old servers. I want to add these new igroups of these new servers to the existing luns and I only know how to go uder each lun/initiator and add the igroup from there

I got one brocade fc switch that both netapp contollers are connected to its one fabric switch and 4 ports from the netapp is connected to 4 fc ports. when I create vol/lun on controller A, the server cannot see the boot lun but when i create vol/lun on controllerB the sever can see it any idea? On the FC switch, I verified both the initiators are zoned in correctly and also on the san any idea?

when i run vol status -S it does not show as available. When i try to create a new aggregate, I got the error you do you have sufficient spare disk to create raid dp aggregate. But when i go to disks, I see a lot of disk not assigned to any aggregate. any idea?

The netapp controllerinitiators are all zoned in on the fc switch. The host is also zoned in. however I can only see luns on one netapp and not the other netapp.

I initially created and mounted a 500gb lun into esxi. then I resized the lun in system manager to 800gb. then I unmounted the lun in vmware and deleted it Then rescanned all adapters and tried to readd the lun but vmware does not see the 800gb. it still see the lun as a 500g lun. any ideas?

I am missing the luns config under oncommand system manager. The filers were recently upgraded to 8.1. however the 8.0 filers still shows luns in oncommand system manager any idea?
